Community Engagement and Outreach Specialist coordinates initiatives designed to promote and represent the organization and brand as a socially responsible force in the community. Administers outreach programs that engage, support, and collaborate with the community to develop and expand relationships. Being a Community Engagement and Outreach Specialist serves as the organization's liaison with various constituents and stakeholders. Assists with the coordination of events, managing volunteers, and applying for grants. Additionally, Community Engagement and Outreach Specialist typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Community Engagement and Outreach Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. SUMMARY: This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and strengthening community engagement with Goodwill.

MINIMUM SKILLS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE, TECHNICAL SKILLS:
High school diploma or equivalent required and a minimum of three years experience in the practice of communications and public relations.Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) or G-Suite expertise strongly preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to Goodwill's liability insurance provider.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
