Community Development Representative implements the economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Establishes and maintains relationships with groups and organizations in the community to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Being a Community Development Representative develops an understanding of public programs and community needs to ensure effective community outreach and support development. Represents the institution within the community and is a resource for information about products and services that are available. Additionally, Community Development Representative adheres to all operational procedures and complies with Community Reinvestment Act and other regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Community Development Representative occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Responsibilities:- Seek out new business opportunities within the assigned geographies to expand clientele
- Keep the customer database updated to ensure information on prospective and past clients is current
- Assess and send qualified leads to inbound sales representatives so they can convert clients and provide quick turnaround
- Funnel new qualified leads into the sales pipeline by following up with each prospect via email, phone calls or other forms of communication
- Track performance goals and key sales metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis to make sure company goals are achieved
- Call Inbound leads
- Great time management, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal
- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
- Experience using CRM software as part of the sales process
- Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and be able to travel by car
- 2 years of experience in sales or a similar role
