Establishes and maintains relationships with groups and organizations in the community to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Being a Community Development Representative develops an understanding of public programs and community needs to ensure effective community outreach and support development. Represents the institution within the community and is a resource for information about products and services that are available. Additionally, Community Development Representative adheres to all operational procedures and complies with Community Reinvestment Act and other regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Community Development Representative occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Job Summary
    Visiting Angels is seeking a highly motivated and highly skilled community liaison/Business Development professional to join our team in our Carpinteria office. As the Community Liaison, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth, building relationships, and ensuring a smooth sales process.The candidate must be able to drive real results by finding outside business development and ensuring a smooth sales process. This position will represent Visiting Angels in the community and drive revenue through building a network of industry referrals. The community liaison’s role will include working with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and other providers in the senior care industry. In addition, they will need to identify, develop, and maintain referral sources. The candidate will be responsible for attending events in the community and increasing awareness of Visiting Angel's mission and values.

    Responsibilities
    • Build and maintain key relationships to drive brand awareness and acquire new clients.
    • Establish and nurture relationships with existing referral sources for long-term business partnerships.
    • Represent Visiting Angels in community settings, networking groups, and events.
    • Ensure referral source satisfaction and cultivate ongoing business.
    • Respond to client inquiries, conduct assessments, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
    • Effectively communicate within the team to meet clients' needs and satisfaction.
    • Provide active relationship management to clients and referral partners.
    • Maintain a working knowledge of Visiting Angels' requirements and obligations.
    • Coordinate marketing communications, including the development and distribution of marketing collateral.
    • Arrange appointments and call activities with healthcare professionals to increase referrals and nurture existing relationships.
    • Solve challenges for both referrals and clients on a day-to-day basis.

    • Qualifications
    • Minimum of 3 years of sales/marketing experience in home care or healthcare.
    • In-depth knowledge and curiosity about healthcare, sales, and marketing.
    • Proven attendance at local networking and educational events.
    • Strong customer support orientation and ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Proficiency in WellSky, Microsoft Office, Zoom, social media platforms, and Google products.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of individuals.
    • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
    • Valid driver's license and access to an insured automobile
