Community Development Representative implements the economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Establishes and maintains relationships with groups and organizations in the community to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Being a Community Development Representative develops an understanding of public programs and community needs to ensure effective community outreach and support development. Represents the institution within the community and is a resource for information about products and services that are available. Additionally, Community Development Representative adheres to all operational procedures and complies with Community Reinvestment Act and other regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Community Development Representative occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I, of the Program Design and Implementation (PDI) Unit within the Division of State Financial Assistance (DSFA), the Housing and Community Development Representative (HCDR) II will work on program design and implementation of state-funded housing programs within the priority policy area of Climate Change. The HCDR II is responsible for independently planning and implementing DSFA programs including the drafting program guidelines, preparing complex Notices of Funding Availability (NOFAs) and applications, along with the varied day-to-day activities associated with technical assistance, application review, scoring, underwriting, award of funds, and preparation of the Standard Agreement.
