Community Development Manager manages the economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Ensures company visibility is established in the area and promotes relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Being a Community Development Manager evaluates the current and future credit needs of the community and develops a strong understanding of the local issues and needs. Actively monitors public programs that support community development initiatives. Additionally, Community Development Manager initiates policy changes or enhancements to ensure compliance with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Makes recommendations to expand and develop lending programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Community Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Community Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • The Development and Database Coordinator works with the Director of Development to

    ensure the success of the Advancement team on and off campus. The professional

    must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with experience in donor

    management software, coordinating events, working with volunteers, managing

    logistics, and engaging sponsors while adhering to budgetary guidelines. In addition, the

    Development and Database Coordinator will aid in expanding engagement programs

    and keeping the community connected to the school’s mission of creating a community

    where children of all faiths demonstrate integrity (Tzedek), academic excellence

    (Limud), and the desire to change the world (Tikkun Olam).

    Reporting to the Director of Development, this position will maintain donor and prospect

    records; prepare donor correspondence, including required acknowledgment letters; gift

    processing; support for fundraising and other events; and engage with volunteers and

    donors. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, detail-oriented, responsible, and

    able to work independently while possessing the ability and desire to understand and

    engage in supportive relationships.

     Duties include data entry into the donor database,

     processing thank you letters to sponsors and donors.

     Maintaining the CRM system/donor database, including maintenance, gift entry,

    and reporting

     Implementing volunteer engagement strategies to include screening, placement,

    development, retention, and recognition.

     Researching and identification of prospective donors

     Assisting with fundraising and cultivation events

     Coordinating special school events, speaking engagements, donor receptions,

    and volunteer group events.

     Serving as a liaison with multiple development/volunteer committees,

    coordinating logistics and engaging sponsors, as needed, while adhering to

    budgetary guidelines.

     Managing the Corporate Partners program.

     Working closely with the Development team on cultivation activities to build a

    major gift pipeline.

     Supporting the Development team's efforts to acquire, cultivate, renew, and

    increase gifts to reach an Annual Fund goal of $1.2M or more.

     Managing a portfolio of donors and prospects as determined by the Director of

    Development.

    Position Qualifications/Requirements

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit or related field, or

    commensurate experience

    Previous Experience:

     High degree of office and administrative proficiency and accuracy

     Database entry and maintenance (DonorPerfect)

     Experience in creating and managing Excel spreadsheets.

     Strong customer service skills, both written and verbal

    Core Capabilities:

    organizational skills.

     Must be detail-oriented with the ability to exercise independent judgment.

    awareness. Ability to work effectively with sensitive and confidential material.

     Self-Management: Effectively manages own time, conflicting priorities, self,

    ability to work independently with limited supervision. Ability to work remotely

    effectively as required.

     Must work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to

    juggle competing priorities and demands from various stakeholders.

     Able to maintain discretion with a high level of confidentiality.

     Computer Skills:

     including a CRM such as Blackbaud, Word, Excel, Canva, Apple Mac OS

    and the Google drive platform.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $45,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
