Community Development Manager manages the economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Ensures company visibility is established in the area and promotes relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Being a Community Development Manager evaluates the current and future credit needs of the community and develops a strong understanding of the local issues and needs. Actively monitors public programs that support community development initiatives. Additionally, Community Development Manager initiates policy changes or enhancements to ensure compliance with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Makes recommendations to expand and develop lending programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Community Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the Workforce Development Manager (WFDM) will be responsible for crafting and executing workforce strategies, managing recruitment and retention efforts, and leading initiatives focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). In this role, the WFDM plays a pivotal part in enhancing and nurturing the organization's workforce. They will devise and execute plans to attract and retain a dynamic workforce that remains adaptable to the evolving objectives of Axis and its mission. Collaborating closely with leadership, external collaborators, and key stakeholders, the WFDM ensures seamless alignment, integration, and adherence to best practices in workforce development.

Physical: Occasionally required to carry/lift/push/pull/move up to 20lbs. Occasional travel to other Axis health centers and other occasional travel will be required.
Equipment: Frequently required to use repetitive motion of hands and feet to operate a computer keyboard, telephone, copier and other office equipment for extended periods.
Sensory: Frequently required to read documents, written reports and signage. Must be able to distinguish normal sounds with some background noise, as in answering the phone, interacting with staff etc. Must be able to speak clearly, understand normal communication, and to be understood. Must be able to see clearly and have the ability to judge distances and spatial relationships to see objects where and as they actually are.
Cognitive: Must be able to analyze information being received, count accurately, concentrate and focus on the given task, summarize the information being received, accurately interpret written data, synthesize information from multiple sources, write summaries as needed, interpret written or verbal instructions, and recognize social or professional behavioral cues.
Environmental Conditions: Frequent exposure to varied office (medical clinic/office) environments. Rare exposure to dust and loud noises.
