Community Development Manager manages the economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Ensures company visibility is established in the area and promotes relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Being a Community Development Manager evaluates the current and future credit needs of the community and develops a strong understanding of the local issues and needs. Actively monitors public programs that support community development initiatives. Additionally, Community Development Manager initiates policy changes or enhancements to ensure compliance with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Makes recommendations to expand and develop lending programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Community Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Community Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     As a community case manager for Living Innovations you will be responsible for supporting Living Innovations mission, vision, and values within your assigned region. To accomplish this you must role model LI's values (as outlined on our website) and provide leadership, supervision, professional development and growth opportunities to all assigned staff. You will also be responsible for ensuring quality delivery of all services and programs for individuals supported in your region. Customer service will be crucial in your new role. You will be responsible for a positive and productive program with overall morale of staff and satisfaction for the individuals and families supported.

    Qualifications


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Bachelors degree required in psychology, behavioral health, social work, special education, rehabilitation, nursing or a closely related field.
    • One year of experience in IDD/Autism required

    SKILLS:

    • Ability to make wellreasoned decisions, both independently and as part of a team
    • Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information
    • Ability to use effective written/verbal communication skills with coworkers, family members, guardians, and individuals at all levels of the organization
    • Ability to manage, prioritize, and carry out multiple tasks
    • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
    • Must possess effective coping skills, such as flexibility in dealing with issues typical to a social service setting
    • Ability to resolve or facilitate the resolution of complex problems
    • Knowledge of regulatory and legislative standards related to services provided by the organization
    • Equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Valid state issued drivers license, current vehicle insurance declaration and vehicle registration
    • Must pass comprehensive background checks per state and company regulations/policies
    • Certifications will vary per state regulation and program needs
