Community Development Manager manages the economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Ensures company visibility is established in the area and promotes relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Being a Community Development Manager evaluates the current and future credit needs of the community and develops a strong understanding of the local issues and needs. Actively monitors public programs that support community development initiatives. Additionally, Community Development Manager initiates policy changes or enhancements to ensure compliance with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Makes recommendations to expand and develop lending programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Community Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Community Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Portfolio Manager to join our team in Lewes, DE. The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of community associations, ensuring efficient operations, financial stability, and superior customer service.

    Responsibilities:

    - Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of community associations.

    - Develop and maintain positive relationships with board members, homeowners, and vendors.

    - Coordinate and attend regular board meetings, annual meetings, and other community events.

    -Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and proposals to board members.

    -Oversee day-to-day operations, including maintenance, repairs, and vendor contracts.

    -Enforce community rules and regulations in a fair and consistent manner.

    -Manage delinquencies, collections, and legal matters in accordance with association policies.

    -Monitor property values and recommend strategies to enhance community value.Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.

    -Collaborate with other team members to share knowledge and resources.

    Qualifications:

    3 years of experience in community association management or related field.(preferred)

    Strong understanding of property management principles, financial management, and legal compliance.

    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

    Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.

    CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) or other industry certifications (preferred).

    Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
