Community Development Manager manages the economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Ensures company visibility is established in the area and promotes relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Being a Community Development Manager evaluates the current and future credit needs of the community and develops a strong understanding of the local issues and needs. Actively monitors public programs that support community development initiatives. Additionally, Community Development Manager initiates policy changes or enhancements to ensure compliance with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Makes recommendations to expand and develop lending programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Community Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Community Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     • MISSIONS
      • To ensure that the accuracy and availability of specifications required to supply products with the quality level specified by our customers.
      • To ensure that the Components and Finished Goods are compliant with the quality definition as agreed with the customer and in accordance with ISO22716 (cosmetics GMP) and FDA requirements for OTC products.
      • To lead, train and support all QC direct reports in the inspection techniques to conform to ISO 2859
    • SCOPE
      • Manage Quality staff in the defined area of Fill & Assembly, Incoming Inspection, and Standards Library
      • Subject Matter Expert for Red Zone Compliance Module.
      • Qualify all Packaging WIP’s, Finished Goods, and Components.
      • Documentation associated with reporting results for Components and Finished Goods.
      • Supporting production teams in quality education of operatives.
    • FUNCTIONS
      • Review and validate Quality Standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Work Instructions, functional documents, operational guidelines, and overall document management policies.
      • To anticipate workload and lead the quality team daily. React to changes in demand and workload in the areas of your functional responsibility.
      • Ensure that the FG AQL’s are available to customers on request and are compliant with the customers SOP/AQL methodology.
      • To participate in the selection and evaluation of QC staff, coaching QC staff in the interpretation of QA measurements, tolerances, limits, and a full understanding of the defect panoply
      • Coach QC staff in the use of QC equipment and accompanying SOP / Methods and IT systems, (Calipers, Force gauges, torque meters, Oracle).
      • Ensure that all metrics in your given area are regularly reported and that action plans are followed and updated. Information cascaded to all interested parties.
      • To liaise with production areas to support quality improvements in the form of RCA & CAPA processes. Results and outcomes reported to senior management.
      • Ensure proper use of scale verification, sanitization logs, quality inspection checklist by filling-assembly, QC inspection checklist.
      • Create and properly record each non-conformance. For each non-conformance, work with involved parties (production, warehouse, QC bulk, TPD) by gathering data, creating fish bones (RCA), corrective actions and preventive actions in a timely manner.
      • Ensure that each investigation is properly recorded and communicated to all involved parties.
      • Ensure that corrective actions and preventive actions in the QC department are implemented and carried out
      • Review in advance production schedule with QC and production team for the following week to establish priorities for QC team and anticipate potential issues based on history (Non-conformance / log).
      • Ensure that FG and WIP are released within 24 hours.
      • Ensure that production lines follow the traffic light system.
      • Perform a variety of additional tasks as required.
    • KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI)
      • Outgoing AQL for Finished Goods & WIPs.
      • Completion of Training by QC staff.
      • % Reduction of Customer Complaints.
      • Weekly Start Up and NCR Reports

    Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or related field with 5 years of relevant work experience.
    • Master’s degree in business, Science, Engineering, or related field with 3 years relevant work experience.

    Work Experience

    • Minimum of 3- 5 years of relevant work experience linked with education requirement.
    • Administration and Management – Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people resources.
    • Clerical – Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing file records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
    • English Language – Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
    • Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
    • Mathematics – Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
    • Personnel and Human Resources – Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
    • Production and Processing – Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
    • Law and Government – Knowledge of laws. Legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, and agency rules.

    Engineering and Technology – Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This include applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services
