Community Development Compliance Specialist ensures the organization's adherence with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) banking laws. Reviews and analyzes lending activity data as well as other activities and policies of the organization to ensure compliance with CRA policies. Being a Community Development Compliance Specialist coordinates the preparation of required government, regulatory, and other compliance documents for all community development activities. Advises management and coordinates with legal staff on potential impact of actions. Additionally, Community Development Compliance Specialist develops and recommends guidelines and standards to assist with compliance. Has current and extensive knowledge of all CRA regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Community Development Compliance Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Save Red Rock – a nonprofit organization committed to preserving and protecting the safety, sustainability and accessibility of Red Rock Canyon NCA – is looking for a part-time Social Media and Marketing Manager to work in tandem with the Interim Executive Director and governing Board. The Marketing Manager will be in charge of social, digital ad and email content creation, distribution and analysis plus reporting. He/She/They will be expected to draft and distribute all social, advertising and e-blast content, attend weekly board meetings, meet with elected officials, and attend special events. We are a small but hard-working team that combines part-time staff with a volunteer board and advisory team, with the need to work independently and report back to the group. At times, the Marketing Manager may be called upon to pitch in on event planning or attendance, public-facing roles such as making speeches at public meetings, and more. Though not a requirement, the ideal candidate will have a passion for recreation of any/all kinds at Red Rock Canyon and be a frequent visitor. SRR is excited to share our mission, vision and purpose with a positive, like-minded individual.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent real-world experience) in marketing, communications, advertising or related field
    • At least 7 years in the workforce
    • Familiarity with navigating a nonprofit board and governance
    • Robust contacts with local media
    • An adaptable team-player
    • Keen attention to detail
    • Ability to up-level content design and maintain brand aesthetics
    • Finger on the pulse of popular culture
    • Exceptional writing and organizational skills
    • Self-Starter with excellent time-management and communication skills
    • Ability to project manage his/her/their own workload

    • Experience in event planning and execution
    • Passion for Red Rock Canyon, public lands, and the environment as a whole

    Duties

    • Generate and moderate all social media content. Respond to comments and messages in a timely manner and proactively support and interact with community partner profiles.
    • Grow dynamically in the ever-changing social media context by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, algorithms and best practices, and then acting on the information
    • Work well with an all-remote, part-time team, ensuring that time-sensitive work is addressed
    • Ideate, write, edit and deliver/post social content, email marketing content, public relations documents, website content, and other public-facing messages
    • Work with local media to pitch and secure impactful stories
    • Assist in the coordination of events
    • Attend and post on social media at public meetings, government proceedings, organization happenings and local conservation and recreational events
    • Prepare clear, thoughtful reports for the Executive Director and Board that drive the social media strategy forward
    • Attend monthly team meetings and weekly staff meetings
    • Meet as needed with community stakeholders to further the Save Red Rock mission
