RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and report all security issues, prioritize threats, monitor threat intelligence feeds, and validate threat mitigation in accordance with company standards.
• Collaborate across business units to understand the architecture of our enterprise and assist with recommending appropriate solutions to complex issues.
• Run client SAST/DAST/SCA tools, review outputs and provide recommendations.
• Implement integrations for tools into pipelines, ticketing systems, etc.
• Perform manual-based assessments or application-focused pen testing.
• Perform code reviews.
• Investigate and remediate alerts triggered by the Security Information and Event Monitoring System (SIEM)
• Serve as a mentor to junior analysts (IT Analyst II)
• Monitor threat intelligence feeds to identify threats, IOC, and ATP's.
• Ensure that all systems are protected per the policies and guidelines set by the information security leadership team.
• Be proactive and curious and take on additional projects and duties to aide with professional growth and learning opportunities.
• Other duties as required or assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• BA/BS degree in a computer-related field desired
• Level I 2-3 years & Level II 3-5 years of Information Systems experience
• 2 years of experience directly related to incident response, malware analysis, threat hunting, or threat intelligence
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
• Coding/Programming scripting (JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, C )
• CySA , CASP , GIAC (GCDA, GCIA, GCIH, GCED, GDAT) certification is highly desired
• At least 6 months of experience working in an application security focused position supporting SAST/DAST/SCA tools
• Solid knowledge of manual testing tools such as Burp Suite Pro
• Knowledge of and experience with SAST/DAST/SCA application security tools such as: Burp Suite, Netsparker, Veracode, Checkmarx, WhiteSource, etc.
• Experience with the integration of tools into development pipelines
• Understanding of a broad range of application security issues as well as their mitigation strategies
• Understanding of application security related vulnerabilities
• Experience with reviewing source code written in JavaScript, Python, Java, C , PHP, or C# a plus
