We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Representative to join our team. As a Communications Representative, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining positive relationships with our clients, employees, and the general public. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to ensure that our company's message is effectively conveyed to external and internal stakeholders.

Monday to Friday

Pay Range:

$25.60 - $35.00 hourly

THIS WILL BE AN ON-SITE JOB

Location: Washington, DC

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
• Create compelling content for press releases, social media, and internal newsletters
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists
• Monitor media coverage and prepare reports that summarize key findings
• Manage media inquiries and coordinate interviews with company spokespeople
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
• Proven experience in a communications role, preferably in a corporate setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships
• Proficient in using social media platforms for business purposes
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with media monitoring tools and techniques
