Manages the coordination of production and distribution activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Communications Editor Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Your Key Responsibilities
- Support and execute annual internal communication plan for subregion U.S. & Canada
- Passionate about engaging with internal stakeholders and have the ability to work independently with guidance
- Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication across the company
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to gather information and insights to create compelling content
- Create and post content to Schaeffler’s intranet and other internal communication channels ensuring content is relevant and timely
- Produce high-quality written content adhering to AP Style guidelines
- Assist in creating internal communication campaigns, content and materials, including blog posts, memos, newsletters, digital content, magazines, presentations, and videos
- Edit and refine various types of communication materials for clarity, consistency and effectiveness
- Monitor feedback channels to gather input from employees and gauge effectiveness of internal communication content and channels
- Support corporate branding and marketing initiatives as needed
- Uphold brand guidelines and maintain consistency in messaging across all internal communication channels
- Support site branding initiatives, liaise with internal stakeholders and vendors by building and maintaining positive relationships
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, journalism or comparable studies
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferably corporate communications and marketing
- Excellent communicator (written and oral) and proficient writer with knowledge of AP Style guidelines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and enjoys collaborating with a team
- Experience working with and presenting to stakeholders as well as supporting internal events
- Detail oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects, deadlines and priorities
- Experience in working with external service providers (including agencies)
- Proficient in MS Office (particularly Word and PowerPoint)
- External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
