Communications Editor Supervisor supervises a staff of editors who write, prepare, and review content to be used in company publications. Helps develop, maintain, and implement editorial policies and standards and ensure conformance. Being a Communications Editor Supervisor oversees and reviews the team's work product. Monitors accuracy and ensures documents and materials follow organizational standards and branding. Additionally, Communications Editor Supervisor manages project tasks and timelines. Manages the coordination of production and distribution activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Communications Editor Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Communications Editor Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.     Responsibilities:
    • Proofreads, edits and formats documents to meet company standards.
    • Prepares proposals.
    • Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
    • Collaborative and interactive support to engineering staff for engineering documents.
    • Ability to deliver high-quality technical documentation in a timely manner.
    • Handle multiple demands and rapidly changing priorities while working both independently and in a team environment.
    • Interacts thoughtfully and courteously with clients, coworkers, and other staff.
    • Advanced writing skills and strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent problem solving skills.
    • Prepare bidding documents including front ends and contract documents.
    • Provide requested documents to funding agencies as needed.
    • Maintain accuracy and quality in work.
    • Performs duties as assigned.

    The position requires a self-motivated, talented, dependable, detail-oriented, dedicated Technical Editor who is able to multitask in a casual office environment that promotes both personal and professional development.

    Qualifications:
    • Two years of experience as a Technical Editor.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Competent in Windows Operation System, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Ability to work and communicate successfully in a team environment.
    • Quality and accuracy shall be maintained in all work.
    • All other tasks required to provide excellent service to clients and employees.
    • Helping to ensure the success and growth of the company.
    • Integrity and ability to exercise good judgement.
