Monitors accuracy and ensures documents and materials follow organizational standards and branding. Additionally, Communications Editor Supervisor manages project tasks and timelines. Manages the coordination of production and distribution activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Communications Editor Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Responsibilities:
As part of the Editorial team, your responsibilities will include creating rough cuts and final edits, often but not exclusively with internal and external creative teams, that meet, and even exceed, the expectations of the brief or project. Depending on the type of project, other duties may include sourcing stock footage and/or music, overcutting renders, prepping for mix and color, captioning, versioning and archiving.
