Job Summary/Description/Duties
The morning editor is responsible for editing and attaching all video to our 5am-7am newscast, M-F.
This can be a high stress job.
The editor must have good communication skills, able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
While this is an entry level position, attention to detail is an absolute must.
You will work closely with producers, reporters, photographers and anchors.
Please note - primary job responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the list above.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
-Experienced with non-linear editing, Edius is preferred since that is what we use but not necessary. We will train you.
-Ability to shoot video is helpful but not required
-Knowledge of copyright laws and basic Journalism standards
-Must be able to work 3am-12pm, M-F
