    Summary:

    As an Information Technology Project Manager, you are responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, budget, and goals of the organization.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Complete projects by coordinating resources and timetables with departments, vendors, outsource providers, and consultants as needed.
    • Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, and counseling, employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
    • Help define project scope, goals and deliverables and define tasks and required resources
    • Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing project budgets; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
    • Allocate project resources.
    • Create schedule and project timeline.
    • Track deliverables.
    • Lead quality assurance.
    • Monitor and report on project progress.
    • Present to stakeholders’ reports on progress as well as problems and solutions.
    • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs.
    • Evaluate and assess result of project.
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state of-the art practices; participating in professional societies.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Education and/or Experience - Bachelor’s degree in related field required and 3-5 years related experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s Degree and experience in strategic planning, preferred.
    • Language Skills – Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents. Ability to interact effectively and present information in both written and oral form with management, clients, staff, vendors, etc.
    • Mathematical Skills –Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
    • Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. This role requires an above-average knowledge of Microsoft Office. Proficiency in project management software tools preferred.
    • Other Qualifications - Must be able to travel occasionally- 20% of the time. Minimal overnight stays may be necessary. Project management qualification (PMP, CAPM) or equivalent, ITIL certification required. Experience with formal change management approaches and methodologies preferred.

    Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the individual must be able to remain in a stationary position for 90 percent of the time while operating their computer and performing office work. The individual needs to occasionally move about inside the office. They constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, fax machine, and computer printer. They must be able to exchange accurate information with customers and others in the office while interacting. The employee must regularly move up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. The individual must be capable of reviewing their work for errors and make adjustments as necessary.
