Partners Professionals is currently looking for an Inventory Analyst/Commodity position, onsite located in Fairfield, CA, Temp to hire, offering $35-40/hr.
Inventory Analyst/Commodity duties:
· Support and interpret material needs for Morgan Hill as requested.
· Work closely with Sales and the Supply Chain Manager to ensure planning for Morgan Hill is
· correct and MRP functions properly.
· Review, maintain, and recommend min/max levels for assigned commodities utilizing a data
· driven methodology.
· Suggest and improve methods to maximize inventory turns, while assisting the operations team
· to execute the production schedule without material shortage impacts.
· Review past due POs to understand reconfirmed and rescheduled orders on a weekly basis.
· Build strong supplier relationships to ensure on time delivery, expedite past due orders, manage
· priorities and improve supplier performance.
· Guarantee supplier compliance with contracts.
· Review pricing in AX to ensure correct pricing for any Long-Term Agreements and revised price
· lists from suppliers.
· Review demand forecast in AX as needed
· Work with cross functional departments (not limited to Production, Receiving, Accounts
· Payable) to resolve discrepancies and meet business needs
· Direct and perform inventory counts along with preparation and collection of count sheets
· followed by a detailed analysis of count results
· Twice yearly ABC reclassification preparation and coordination of audits
· Direct and perform inventory recounts and other research for discrepant material, done through
· reporting and following through with recommendations
· Ensure integrity of counted material i.e. condition and expiration status
Inventory Analyst/Commodity Requirements:
· Minimum Associate's degree and/or equivalent experience
· Minimum of 1 year of experience with composites manufacturing
· Manufacturing or composites experience required
· Must be able to communicate clearly (written and verbally) in English
· Able to work and communicate with multiple teams
· Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PPT)
· Experience with ERP/supply demand planning software a plus
