Commercial Tire Technician performs tire and tire related services at commercial service centers according to company requirements. Mounts, demounts and balances commercial and other tires and wheels as directed by a service manager or a more senior technician. Being a Commercial Tire Technician follows established procedures to inspect tires, wheels and vehicles before and after service, noting additional needs and notifying the service manager or supervising technician. May be responsible for replenishing inventory and maintaining shop supply levels. Additionally, Commercial Tire Technician may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Commercial Tire Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform service in shop (mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires) and repair work for customers as directed by Service Manager (both inside and mobile)
· Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties and company policies.
· Any other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· High School Degree or GED.
REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum age of 18.
· Must have a valid driver's license.
· Experience with heavy duty and commercial tires, particularly tire mounting and dismounting.
