Commercial Tire Technician performs tire and tire related services at commercial service centers according to company requirements. Mounts, demounts and balances commercial and other tires and wheels as directed by a service manager or a more senior technician. Being a Commercial Tire Technician follows established procedures to inspect tires, wheels and vehicles before and after service, noting additional needs and notifying the service manager or supervising technician. May be responsible for replenishing inventory and maintaining shop supply levels. Additionally, Commercial Tire Technician may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Commercial Tire Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Job Description: We are looking for an Experienced Commercial Roadside Tire Technician who can perform tire repairs, replacements & general service to tires and wheels on the road or at a customer's location in the Baltimore, MD market.
Location: This position is available at our commercial tire service center in Baltimore, Maryland. Centered around the Inner Harbor of the Chesapeake Bay, Baltimore is the birthplace of the U.S. national anthem.
What you will be doing:
· Opportunity to work on unique vehicles such as fire trucks, tour buses, earth moving equipment, and more!
· Mount & Dismount Tires on the road or at a customer’s location
· Work with tools such as hydraulic jacks, air tools and heavy hand-held tools.
· Respond to road service calls, as required
Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday. Additional lucrative pay incentives available for after hours work!
Minimum Qualifications:
· Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
· Operate a commercial service truck.
· Possess a valid DOT medical card or be able to get one.
· Ability to lift consistently between 75 and 100 pounds.
· The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
· Comfortable with working on the side of the road
· Acceptable pre-employment drug screening

· Knowledge of various tire brands, types, and sizes
