Commercial Tire Store Manager plans and directs the day-to-day operations of a commercial tire store/center. Develops strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability. Additionally, Commercial Tire Store Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Commercial Tire Store Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Commercial Tire Store Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tire Technician to join our team. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing tire services and maintenance on Tractor/Trailers (18 wheelers) . If you have a strong mechanical background, enjoy working with power and hand tools, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you!
Duties:
- Perform tire installations, rotations, balancing, and repairs
- Conduct tire alignments to ensure proper vehicle handling
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, or other issues
- Maintain accurate records of services performed
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate tires for their vehicles
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Tire Technician or in a similar role preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Sales experience is a plus
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy tires and perform physical tasks as required
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills
