Commercial Tire Service Manager manages the service staff to effectively meet customer requirements and minimize service related expenses. Assigns jobs within the service center and dispatches road and fleet service according to customer requests or established requirements. Duties:
- Mounting, balancing, and installing tires on various commercial vehicles including 17.5", 19.5", 22.5", 24.5" Tires and farm and ag tires.
- Inspecting tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation
- Rotating after-hours on call and overtime
- Operating hand tools and equipment necessary for tire installation and repair
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Commercial Tire Technician or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of dealership or automotive service center operations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 75 pounds) and physical tasks associated with the job
- Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment related to tire installation and repair
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent service to customers
