SRG Management L.L.C. is looking to fill the position for a full or part-time Assistant Community Manager located at Montrose, MI. We are looking for an individual who is interested in furthering their skills in residential property management and who enjoys assisting people in living in the perfect place to call home.

Position Overview: Assist in the managing of a multi-phase housing development in maintaining the physical asset, collection of rent/dues, monthly reporting, supervision of on-site personnel, coordination of site maintenance contractors, interact with builder(s), sales people, and manage resident related issues. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Participate in organizing community activities, events and functions for the residents.
- Able to handle any emergencies that may arise if needed.
- Assist in maintain community records, ensuring that these records are secured as required by law.
- Process rental and homeowner association dues collection, process deposits.
- Ensure compliance with residential leases, community rules, and master deed documents for the HOA and Community Association.
- Assist in the planning and implantation of repairs, remediation, stabilization, preventative maintenance, and general maintenance.
- Assist in directing vendors, contractors, and suppliers who provide for community services and maintenance. Maintain a purchase order system and assist management in coding of invoices.
Minimum Qualifications include:
- Display strong written skills, particularly in operations, and relationship management.
- Experience of three (3) or more years in property management as an assistant manager or manager in a multifamily community.
- Display a community posture that positively represents the vision of the organization and the community
- Effectively communicate and display professionalism at all times with residents, staff members, builders, contractors, vendors and the public
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, & Microsoft Teams.
- Must be goal minded, have leadership skills and possess a self-starting drive. Able to work alone or within a team.
- Ability to listen to others, collaborate, and resolve conflict with residents, contractors, and builders.
- Demonstrates effective oral and written communications skills.
- Strong ethical practices.
- Must be present on property and be able to work additional hours on occasion as needed. (this is not a work remote position)
- Solid understanding of Fair Housing laws and regulations for federal, state, county, or other government offices.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Basic understanding of building maintenance, as well as structure building processes.
- Work well with others.
