Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer solicits, structures, and services a variety of commercial real estate loans. Works mostly with moderately large and complex real estate loans including investments, development, and construction loans. Being a Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer evaluates loan applicants and reviews appraisals, credit reports, and other information necessary to evaluate deals. Develops and maintains relationships and communication with current and potential borrowers. Additionally, Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer coordinates with credit analysts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of loan analysis and documentation. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Job Summary:
The Mortgage Loan Officer is responsible for integrating with local industry chapters of NAREB, AAREA, NAHREP, and NHS to create pipelines of qualified borrowers and referral sources. Lead consumer-based outreach for pipeline cultivation (talk radio, homebuyer session, community event). Advising new and existing clients on residential mortgage programs obtained from various sources including realtors, builders, newspaper ads, and other nontraditional sources as well as continuing to produce their own book of business.
