Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer jobs in Arkansas

• Responsible for reviewing loan application and ensuring that loan has proper approval and information to process.
• Responsible for preparation of loan documents. This requires an understanding of the loan processing system and basic legal principals.
• Responsible for preparation of loan disbursement information and obtaining appropriate approval for loan funding.
• Responsible for booking the loan on the CORE system.
• Works with lending staff in order to ensure that compliance with laws and regulations are met.
• Assists in loan operations as needed in other areas which may include file maintenance, research, review of data input etc.
• Any other duties as designated by management with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Handles customer inquiries.
• May act as closer on loans when Title Company is not handling the closing.
• Secondary market loans - document preparation as needed, making initial tickets for loan disbursements, closing costs, bank income and loading on CORE system.
• Responsible for ordering coupon books and balancing.
• Responsible for maintaining the loan and credit files.
• Processes payoffs.
• Responsible for file maintenance.
• Responsible for typing and processing RE extensions and mortgage modifications, providing all early and closing documents.

Secondary Duties:

• Assists other department personnel as needed in order to obtain department goals.
• Participates in cross training program for other departmental positions.
• Backup for typing and processing Consumer, Agri, and Commercial loans and extensions (non R/E).
• In-house tax and insurance payment processing and updating.
• Backup on file maintenance for all branches.
• Backup for mortgage releases.

• Proficiency in understanding loan documentation. 
• Proficiency and understanding of the loan processing software and CORE system.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Ability to work well with internal personnel and external customers.
• Ability to represent the bank in a professional manner.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to self motivate and manage time.
• Ability to work with details.
• Ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
  

• High school graduate.  Some college or post high-school education preferred.
