State Credit Union is in need of a branch Member Service Representative & Loan Officer at our Spartanburg branch in Spartanburg, SC to provide sales and service associated with accounts and loans. In this position, the candidate will have the pleasure of serving members needs in order to better their financial lives all while working in a high quality work life balanced organization.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assist members with the loan application process to ensure completeness of information.
• Ensure that all loan activity conforms to credit union policies and applicable consumer legislation.
• Ensures that all member requests for loans are handled in a prompt and courteous manner including the taking and/or returning of telephone calls.
• Assist members with all deposit account related matters.
• Open, close, and modify deposit accounts.

Qualifications:

• All candidates must be sales oriented, motivated, and have a proven track record for success in a related field.
• Candidates are required to be well organized, have the ability to efficiently multi-task, possess good computer skills, and be able to consistently handle difficult member issues.
• Customer service and lending experience are required.

*Three, non-concurrent weeks of Training in Columbia is required: Teller, Member Service, and Loans*
