A Bank is looking to hire a Senior Vice President Commercial Loan Manager

Full Time - Direct Hire (Roseville MN)

***Fully On-site. Not Remote Position.

Position Summary:

A bank seeks a Senior Vice President Commercial Loan Manager to lead business development, manage loan officers and operations, and ensure compliance with lending policies. This role involves maximizing profitability while minimizing risk and maintaining high customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Lead loan origination programs and staff to meet lending goals.
• Analyze the bank's commercial portfolio performance and manage loan portfolios.
• Service complex commercial customers, assess creditworthiness, and negotiate credit terms.
• Manage the credit function, approve/deny credit requests within authority, and advise/train lenders.
• Establish lending policies, manage personnel, solicit new business, and engage in community involvement.
• Participate in various committees, update lending policies, monitor compliance, and assess market conditions.

Professional Qualifications:

• Demonstrated skills in commercial credit underwriting and risk management.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and regulatory knowledge.
• Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft products and experience leading banking professionals.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage staff within commercial loans and loan operations.

Education and Special Requirements:

• Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in business, finance, or related area.
• Certification from a Graduate School of Banking preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of supervisory/management experience in commercial lending.
• Experience in building a commercial lending book of business with credit authority.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,632.61 - $65,794.11 per year
