Additionally, Commercial Loan Clerk may require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Commercial Loan Clerk works under moderate supervision. - Process, analyze, decision and present commercial loans of varying dollar amounts and complexity.
- Meet and support the organizational and lending sales and service goals.
- Maintain superior levels of member service, while managing member and team expectations.
- Possess effective communication and organizational skills.
- Desire to excel in a team environment.
- Communicate with members regarding lending questions, delinquency, and decisions, including alternative lending options.
- Complete annual loan reviews and risk-monitoring duties.

Qualifications:- At least 3 years of commercial lending (investment property, retail and industrial) experience.
- Proven loan underwriting skills.
- Ability to prepare detailed credit presentations.
- Ability to work with commercial lending software.
- Possess a strong understanding of lending rules, regulations, and policies.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel programs.
- Experience with SBA loans preferred.
