Commercial Credit Analyst collects, reviews, and analyzes data to prepare a detailed credit analysis that evaluates the terms and creditworthiness of commercial loan applications. Uses multiple sources of information, including financial statements, collateral appraisals, credit scores, and cash flow analysis, to assign risk ratings to loans and complete an analysis of the applicant's financial status. Being a Commercial Credit Analyst calculates debt-to-income (DTI) ratios to evaluate an applicant's ability to repay the loan. Prepares credit memos in a standardized format that includes key ratios, supporting information, an executive summary, and objective recommendations. Additionally, Commercial Credit Analyst presents credit reports to loan officers and loan committees. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Commercial Credit Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. POSITION: Credit Analyst
LOCATION: TBD - Candidate could work from any of the branch locations which are located in Tremonton, Logan, Evanston, Roosevelt, Spanish Fork, Richfield, Cedar City or South Jordan.
COMPENSATION: Grade 10-11 ($55,000 - $70,000) Depending on education and experience, plus up to 15% additional performance based variable incentive compensation. Comprehensive benefits package also provided.
RESPONSIBILITY: Prepares financial analysis, credit memos and loan monitoring of credits across the Association. In consultation with account managers, develops realistic loan structures, monitors loan performance; validates and reconciles financial information utilized in the credit decision process and completes industry specific research to validate key financial metrics. Ensures reporting of financial analysis and loan classifications are accurate. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
GENERAL DATA: For over 100 years, the Association has been providing agricultural lending services to commercial and mortgage borrowers in Utah and portions of Wyoming, Nevada and Arizona.
