Commercial Credit Analyst collects, reviews, and analyzes data to prepare a detailed credit analysis that evaluates the terms and creditworthiness of commercial loan applications. Uses multiple sources of information, including financial statements, collateral appraisals, credit scores, and cash flow analysis, to assign risk ratings to loans and complete an analysis of the applicant's financial status. Being a Commercial Credit Analyst calculates debt-to-income (DTI) ratios to evaluate an applicant's ability to repay the loan. Prepares credit memos in a standardized format that includes key ratios, supporting information, an executive summary, and objective recommendations. Additionally, Commercial Credit Analyst presents credit reports to loan officers and loan committees. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Union Bank is seeking a motivated individual for a full-time Commercial Loan Credit Analyst. As a Commercial Loan Credit Analyst, under direction of the Commercial Loan Credit Administration Manager, you will perform commercial underwriting and loan processing duties. Also, you will act as a resource to the Commercial Department and other areas of the Bank for loan policy related questions.

Requirements
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AND EXPECTATIONS:
1. BS or BA in Business Management, Finance, Accounting or equivalent field of study, or equivalent prior work experience that demonstrated the aptitude and ability to perform the required tasks.
2. Minimum of 1 year banking experience.
3. Good organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Knowledge of credit and lending processes, practices and techniques preferred but not required.
6. Knowledge of generally accepted commercial loan credit analysis and underwriting methods and criteria is desired but not required.
7. Knowledge of commercial loan products and banking services preferred but not required.
8. Responsible for keeping up to date with pertinent banking regulations and banking principles.
9. Software Utilized: Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, Baker Hill, Silverlake and Synergy.
