Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collection Representative to join our team. Bi-Lingual is a PLUS. As a Collection Representative, you will be responsible for contacting individuals and businesses to collect outstanding debts. Your role will involve utilizing your knowledge of to effectively negotiate payment arrangements and resolve outstanding accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a background in collections to contribute to our organization's success.

Duties:

- Take incoming calls and work out payment plans;

- Answer questions regarding debts and payment plans;

-Contact individuals and businesses via phone to collect outstanding debts

- Utilize telemarketing techniques to effectively communicate with debtors;

-Skip tracing and asset search experience is a PLUS;

- Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with debtors

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities

- Follow up on payment commitments and ensure timely resolution of outstanding accounts

- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing or account discrepancies

- Provide exceptional customer service while adhering to company policies and procedures

- Stay informed about relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in collections or a related field is preferred

- Knowledge of accounts receivable practices is highly desirable

- Familiarity with financial concepts such as debits, credits, and payment terms

- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to persuade debtors to make payments

- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills

- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications for data entry and record keeping

- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

- High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.09 - $18.48 per hour
