Collateral Manager leads a team of appraisers conducting assessments, valuations, and appraisal reviews of real estate, land, and other personal property to establish the market value generally used for lending, insurance, or other purposes. Establishes processes for conducting on-site inspections of property and data collection required to perform valuations. Being an Collateral Manager follows generally accepted appraisal practice concepts and practices to perform data analysis, develop valuation estimates, and write comprehensive reports and exhibits. Ensures appraisal documentation and appraiser certification comply with all regulations. Additionally, Collateral Manager performs appraisal quality reviews to ensure appropriate valuation and minimize risk. Creates process efficiencies with appraisal software tools and databases. May require a bachelor's degree. Has the Member of the Appraisal Institute (SRPA) or similar designation. Requires a State Appraiser License. Typically reports to a director. The Collateral Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Collateral Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     NGNS provides a half-day preschool program in a small classroom setting that serves the developmental needs of two, three, and four your old children in the greater Guilford community.

    Duties

    Lead Teacher: create lesson plans and curriculum materials

    Assistant Teacher: Assist in the implementation of curricula activities and encourage participation by children.

    All Teachers:


    • Availability to work from 8:30 - 2:00 Monday - Friday, unless otherwise indicated by director who sets weekly schedule.
    • Availability to work 11 months out of the year: Sept - July
    • Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials.
    • Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, use of Brightwheel application.
    • Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
    • Help ensure a smooth, daily transition from home to school and back home.
    • Follow all school policies and state regulations.
    • Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

    Requirements

    Minimum of 2 years experience working with preschool children

    • Kind, loving and child-centered
    • Understanding of play-based preschool teaching and learning
    • Understanding of the Bucket Filler method for student management
    • High energy, enthusiastic, team player
    • Ability to work well with others.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills. 
    • An understanding of child development.
    • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to be certified
    • Must clear a full background check and must pass health screening. 
    • Minimum High School Diploma; preference given those who possess a CDA credentials or at least 12 credits in early childhood education or child development.  
    • Willingness to pursue CDA credential or at least 12 credits in early childhood education or child development. 

    Nice To Haves

    Prefered: 

    Associates; Bachelor's Degree in early childhood education or related fields

    CDA; or at least 12 credits in early childhood education or child development or willingness to pursue CDA credentials or at least 6 credits of ECE, if you don't currently possess
