Collateral Manager leads a team of appraisers conducting assessments, valuations, and appraisal reviews of real estate, land, and other personal property to establish the market value generally used for lending, insurance, or other purposes. Establishes processes for conducting on-site inspections of property and data collection required to perform valuations. Being an Collateral Manager follows generally accepted appraisal practice concepts and practices to perform data analysis, develop valuation estimates, and write comprehensive reports and exhibits. Ensures appraisal documentation and appraiser certification comply with all regulations. Additionally, Collateral Manager performs appraisal quality reviews to ensure appropriate valuation and minimize risk. Creates process efficiencies with appraisal software tools and databases. May require a bachelor's degree. Has the Member of the Appraisal Institute (SRPA) or similar designation. Requires a State Appraiser License. Typically reports to a director. The Collateral Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Collateral Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Responsibilities:
Management candidates will begin their career journey in our extensive hands-on and classroom-based Manager Training Program. Our paid training program allows candidates to develop their leadership skills while also preparing them to fulfill a management-level position in their designated department: Carwash, Detail, Convenience Store, or Oil Change. Advancement is based on performance, and the majority of our upper management and corporate team members have been promoted from within.
Individuals in the Store Hospitality Manager Trainee position will not only learn how to manage our Convenience Store operations, they will also receive food preparation and safety training, including an employer-financed ServSafe Management certification. Once they complete their intensive training program, Store Hospitality Managers oversee our Convenience Store operations and the food outlet (e.g. Tim Horton’s, Dunkin Donuts, The Brick Oven) at their assigned location.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Upholding customer satisfaction by ensuring Delta Sonic's standards for quality
· Mastering frontline responsibilities within your assigned department
· Working hands-on alongside other team members
· Training, coaching, and evaluating team members’ performance
· Ensuring that team members adhere to all safety regulations
· Preparing and reviewing reports, including the department’s staffing schedule and financials
· Addressing all customers in a positive, enthusiastic, and professional manner
· Performing regular maintenance and minor repairs to mechanical systems and/or equipment
· Maintaining cleanliness of the premises which includes sweeping, mopping, picking up trash, cleaning restrooms, removing snow, and landscaping
Requirements:
· Must be 18 years of age or older
· Six months to one year of leadership, management, or key holder experience
· Must be able to demonstrate consistent work experience
· Excellent communication skills and a passion for providing great customer service
· A courteous and professional demeanor
· Patience, motivation, and initiative to lead others
· Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time, with or without accommodation
· Ability to lift moderate amounts of weight, with or without accommodation
· Flexibility to work at any of the local locations, and schedule flexibility to include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
· A valid driver's license is preferred for management positions in the Carwash, Detail, and Oil Change departments
