Collateral Appraiser jobs in Oklahoma

Collateral Appraiser conducts commercial real estate appraisals and property ratings to establish the market value generally used for investment guidance, lending, insurance, or other purposes. Follows standard processes for conducting and documenting on-site property inspections. Being an Collateral Appraiser performs data collection and research on building permits, prior assessments, and relevant market and economic conditions that impact property value. Reviews building plans and specifications and investigates the quality of the construction, the overall condition of the property, and the surrounding location. Additionally, Collateral Appraiser uses generally accepted appraisal practice concepts and practices to perform data analysis, develop valuation estimates, and write comprehensive reports and exhibits. Utilizes appraisal software tools and databases. Ensures that reports comply with required policies, formats, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. May require the Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) or similar designation. Requires a State Appraiser License. Typically reports to a manager. The Collateral Appraiser occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Position Summary: Responsible for document image capture. Scans documents, checks quality, and completes index information for document images retrieval. An extremely detailed position working in support of the Loan department.

    Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Review and scan/import loan correspondence and loan documents into tracking system
    • Review and log daily loan correspondence for ticker tracking
    • File correspondence and loan documentation in appropriate files
    • Import and email credit memorandums
    • Retention of paid loan files
    • Occasionally provides documents for legal counsel, subpoena and summons requests
    • Maintain good working relationship with officers and employees
    • Phone inquiries concerning loan documentation
    • Order slab surveys for construction loans
    • Files Mortgages and UCCs
    • Handles Loan History disputes in eOscar

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent typing and keyboard skills; 10 key
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer services skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records

    Education and Experience:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent education or experience.
    • Previous experience working directly with basic loan and Real Estate loan documentation preferred

    Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
    • Professional office environment.
