Coding Compliance Specialist researches and develops the pre-certification insurance policy standards and criteria used by case management and utilization reviewers that will ensure that requested medical services are appropriate and medically necessary. Collaborates with medical professionals to resolve questions about policy development and standards. Being a Coding Compliance Specialist assigns correct ICD, CPT, or other coding assignments for medical procedures that support policy standards in claims systems. Provides expertise and solutions to users regarding the appropriate coding for claims. Additionally, Coding Compliance Specialist has broad knowledge of medical coding systems. May require an associate degree in healthcare administration, a related field, or equivalent. Requires AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC). May alternatively require Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification. Typically reports to a manager. The Coding Compliance Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     The Role


    We are looking for a results-oriented Content Compliance Associate to join our global Content Compliance team and be based in London. The Content Compliance team is a dynamic, external and internal-facing function which enables the expansion of our fastest-growing business segments globally across all of our 9 offices, from Tokyo to San Francisco. As the Content Compliance Associate you will report into the Content Compliance Manager based in London and work closely with the Legal, Client Protection and Content teams as well as a number of other stakeholders across the business.


    Your responsibilities include:


    • Review expert profiles and project requirements for the delivery of expert knowledge to our clients by the Content team
    • Format, proofread, and screen written output (transcripts) specifically to ensure that all information complies with applicable laws and the legal and compliance policies
    • Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any compliance flags
    • Provide legal and compliance training to the Content team and other stakeholders

    • 0-12 months of professional work experience as a Compliance Associate, Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or similar roles
    • Fantastic proofreading experience and acute attention to detail
    • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage time, remain highly organized, and swiftly execute within a fast-paced environment
    • Persistence, drive and a goal-focused mindset as you own projects from initiation to completion
    • A minimum of a Bachelors Degree, in which you achieved a 2:1.
