Being a Coating, Painting, and Spraying Machine Operator may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Coating, Painting, and Spraying Machine Operator relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Responsibilities
Follow and uphold company policies (attendance, safety, accountability matrix, etc.)
Manufacturing
Operator devices efficiently and effectively
Balance team and individual responsibilities
Other duties may be assigned as needed
Measures and checks test pieces to verify conformance to specs and to determine required equipment adjustments using measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures
Knowledge/Skills
Ability to read and understand blue prints
Previous use of Micrometers and Calipers
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to apply common sense understanding to complete written or oral instructions
Knowledge of hand tools and power tools
Strong interpersonal and organizations skills
Ability to read a tape measure
Above average math skills
Preferred Skills
Ability to read Blueprints
Physical Requirements
