Co-Pilot (Small Non-Jet) assists captain of the aircraft (non-jet smaller than 12,500 pounds at takeoff) with flight duties. Supports captain in calculating flight routes, speed, and take off and landing times to ensure aircraft meets scheduling requirements. Being a Co-Pilot (Small Non-Jet) keeps navigation manuals and charts up-to-date. Must stay current with federal and local flight regulations. Additionally, Co-Pilot (Small Non-Jet) must be capable of taking full control of aircraft while in flight. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires FAA pilot certificate with necessary type ratings. Co-Pilot (Small Non-Jet)'s years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Regional Chief Pilot- Northeast (non-NYC Metro)

    EJM is seeking a Regional Chief Pilot to manage pilots and act as a primary point of contact for Part 91/135 operations in the Northeast region. This position offers the ability to serve as a flight crewmember on EJM managed aircraft on an as needed basis. While flight crew qualifications are preferred, they are not required for this non-14 CFR 119 position. As the Regional Chief Pilot, you will be responsible for managing pilots, attracting and engaging new talent, and serving as a point of contact for owners on pilot-related matters. The Regional Chief Pilot reports directly to the Part 119 designated Chief Pilot. The ideal candidate will have experience in aviation management and a strong understanding of Part 91/135 operations.

    This position is vital to our operation and will be responsible for northeast based operations, with a territory of New York (non-NYC Metro), Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. The location for this position is flexible and preference will be given to candidates currently residing within the defined territory.

    Tasks and Responsibilities
    • Functions as the primary point of contact for Pilots / crew members on questions, issues and opportunities associated with the safe operation of flight duties.
    • Ensures Pilots / crew members are compliant with company and regulatory policies and procedures.
    • Engages with pilots on a regular basis with a focus on strong two-way communication, team collaboration, fitness for duty and strong cockpit relationship management. Engages in regular problem solving and collaboration to mitigate known or potential risks. Engagement requires on-site / face-to-face visits, in addition to other communication methods, with account / Pilots.
    • Collaborates with internal departments during account, aircraft and Pilot onboarding / offboarding processes. Includes but not limited to interviewing, training compliance/scheduling, aircraft conformity activities, termination, year-end reviews, promotions, and other related activities.
    • Partners with Owner Services, Sales, Human Resources, Safety, Fleet Maintenance, and other internal stakeholders to ensure account is always staffed and mission ready, to include training and flight currency.
    • Acts as a point of contact for aircraft owners on all pilot-related matters.
    • Supports Chief Pilot and Director of Operations in policy and procedure development, implementation, compliance, and other initiatives as assigned.
    • Engages with Pilots on aviation incidences or events. Ensures accurate reporting and timely follow-up
    • In collaboration with account Lead Pilot, routinely check in with new hire pilots for mentorship and assimilation during first year of employment.

    Base Salary Range

    $200,000 - $355,000
