Co-Pilot (Small Non-Jet) assists captain of the aircraft (non-jet smaller than 12,500 pounds at takeoff) with flight duties. Supports captain in calculating flight routes, speed, and take off and landing times to ensure aircraft meets scheduling requirements. Being a Co-Pilot (Small Non-Jet) keeps navigation manuals and charts up-to-date. Must stay current with federal and local flight regulations. Additionally, Co-Pilot (Small Non-Jet) must be capable of taking full control of aircraft while in flight. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires FAA pilot certificate with necessary type ratings. Co-Pilot (Small Non-Jet)'s years of experience requirement may be unspecified. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilot in Command to join their Aviation Flight Crew team. This is a remote position with competitive compensation ranging from $157,241 to $160,000 per year.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure the safety of the aircraft, flight crew, passengers, and cargo
    • Comply with all federal regulations and company policies and procedures
    • Ensure crew members are properly licensed, rested, and flight ready
    • Plan flight assignments and obtain briefing information
    • Prepare and file flight plans considering all applicable factors
    • Supervise crew members and ensure proper planning and flight preparation
    • Ensure aircraft is pre-flighted, loaded, equipped, and manned for the flight assignment
    • Supervise loading and distribution of cargo and passengers
    • Comply and participate in Safety Management System
    • Prepare flight logs, records, and maintenance forms
    • Ensure aircraft airworthiness per maintenance release procedures
    • Assume role of Inflight Security Coordinator and Ground Security Coordinator
    • Stay highly knowledgeable of regulations, flight manuals, and other relevant instructions
    Qualifications:
    • Airline Transport Pilot
    • Valid Passport
    • FCC RROP
    • First Class Medical
    • Required Experience:
    • 2000 hours total flight time
    • 1000 hours Pilot in Command
    • 500 hours Jet/Turbine
    • 100 hours Instrument
    • Preferred Education and Experience:
    • 4-year degree
    • 3000 hours total flight time
    • 1500 hours Pilot in Command
    • 1000 hours Jet/Turbine
    •  LR-JET or LR45 Type Rating
