Co-Pilot (Large Jet) jobs in Arkansas

Co-Pilot (Large Jet) pilots or co-pilots aircraft following standard operating procedures to ensure that flights operate according to all regulations, safety, and company policies. Follows required procedures to perform pre-flight checks and inspections. Being a Co-Pilot (Large Jet) determines flight routes, speed, take-off, and landing times that will fulfill scheduling requirements. Completes required documentation and performs post-flight procedures as required. Additionally, Co-Pilot (Large Jet) may require a bachelor's degree. Requires Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate. Requires FAA Commercial Pilot's License. Typically reports to chief pilot. The Co-Pilot (Large Jet) work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.   • Rausch Coleman Homes is seeking applicants to expand their growing flight department. All flights will be in a crew environment. Passenger comfort and confidence in the crew is a priority. We are currently averaging a 4-day work week, with most flights taking place during weekdays. The aircraft is a Cessna Citation CJ3 .

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    This position will include normal duties of a 2nd in command:
    • Preparing flight plans
    • Interacting professionally and personally with passengers
    • Regularly ensuring a safe, smooth, and efficient flight 
    • High attention to safety processes and procedures
    • Professional, positive attitude in all interactions
    • Additional duties as required

    Requirements:
    •  No chargeable accidents or violations
    • Current FAA Certifications
    • Current 2nd class medical or higher
    • Valid driver’s license required
    • Overnight travel required, typically once a week
    • Excellent knowledge of Federal Aviation regulations and safety procedures
    • Required yearly training at Flight Safety International paid by Rausch Coleman Homes

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • 2000 hours total with minimum of 1000 hours of multi-engine, 500 jet aircraft, and 250 hours in Cessna Citation 525B
    • Preferred current type rating in CJ3 with Garmin 3000 Avionics package
    • 50 hours in CJ3 or CJ3

    Physical Demands:
    • Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and frequently moving small objects
    • Frequently sitting for long periods of time
