Cloud Systems Analyst is responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. Being a Cloud Systems Analyst develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Additionally, Cloud Systems Analyst monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Aviation & Missile Solutions (AMS) is seeking a talented Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Systems Analyst to join our Ft. Bliss, Texas team at Tobin Wells Training Facility.
The System Analyst will perform as an Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO) Tactical Systems Integration Lab (TSIL) team member. The analyst will develop verification and test objectives and serve as a TSIL interface to external analyst teams. The analyst will develop verification plans, analyses, tools, reports and technical briefings to inform leadership of systems’ performance. This position will support analysis and verification of developmental AMD systems and concepts, and TSIL Hardware In the Loop (HWIL) systems.
Required Experience:
The candidate must be familiar with AMD concepts and possess system engineering knowledge and experience with IBCS and PATRIOT file structures. The candidate must be experienced with analyzing and verifying requirements, translating requirements into testable event objectives, fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset, and be proficient with at least one scripting or programming tool to assist in requirements analysis and verification tasks. Candidate should be familiar with and be able to use Linux operating systems for analysis and data processing. Familiarity with radar track data or missile system data is preferred.
Candidate must be a US citizen, a resident of the El Paso, TX (or willing to relocate), possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, or mathematics, or other science and have a minimum of 5 years combined Government/DoD experience performing duties described above.
Other Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will also have experience with IBCS or PATRIOT weapon systems and operations. Experience with test tools, test planning and analysis, and Design of Experiments (DOE) are a plus. Enthusiasm, initiative, critical thinking, and a team attitude are important and will be key to the candidate’s success.
Occasional travel to New Mexico/White Sands Missile Range is required to support analysis activities for other IBCS/Patriot live and HWIL testing. Security Requirements:
