Cloud Systems Analyst is responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. Being a Cloud Systems Analyst develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Additionally, Cloud Systems Analyst monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Cloud Systems Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Responsibilities

    In this role, you'll be responsible for generating reports to enhance the effectiveness of corporate data systems, with a primary focus on TIER. Your role extends to conducting data analysis, troubleshooting potential inconsistencies, and collaborating closely with the Data Team to develop tools for data monitoring and correction. Additionally, you'll contribute to various systems development projects, showcasing proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, TIER, and other relevant tools. Your responsibilities include performing administration tasks on Chestnut data systems, including user interface development, troubleshooting, and effective communication of system changes to the user community. As part of your role, you'll also assist in general user training sessions to ensure users are well-versed in system functionalities. Establishing positive working relationships with internal and external customers, providing timely and effective support, and promoting Chestnut's culture of customer service excellence are integral aspects of this position. Your commitment to maintaining confidentiality of organizational information, including financial and client data, is paramount. Additionally, you'll undertake other duties and projects assigned by the Data Systems Manager, showcasing adaptability and a dedication to organizational success.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in an IS related field or Associate’s degree with two years of relevant experience.
    • Strong aptitude for data analysis and general database/report writing skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server; experience with SSRS and TIER is preferred.
    • Excellent organizational skills and effective communication abilities.
