Cloud Systems Analyst is responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. Being a Cloud Systems Analyst develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Additionally, Cloud Systems Analyst monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Responsibilities:
The Systems Analyst provides technical and functional support for the Office of Distance Learning. Duties include development of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system processes and logic, as well as troubleshooting and resolving system issues. Related duties include technical support for office hardware and peripherals such as printers, and other systems support tasks.
Successful candidates will excel in performing project-based work, meeting deadlines, and proactively ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data for departmental users. Candidates must also demonstrate flexibility in pivoting between projects and priorities.
