Cloud Systems Analyst is responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. Being a Cloud Systems Analyst develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Additionally, Cloud Systems Analyst monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Aviation & Missile Solutions (AMS) is currently seeking a dynamic Systems Analyst to join our team in White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico.
The System Analyst will have a strong background in Python and will work as a member of the PEO-MS Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office System Engineering (System Engineering) Directorate analysis team to code scripts to assist with the verifications of system requirements in support of Army AMD missions. The position will support analysis and verification of requirements, development scripting in support of test and analysis objectives, support the Joint Analysis Team (JAT), and support the WSMR Field Office Test Team. The position will require development of deserialization of log files, scripting specific code to meet the analytical development of documentation such as verification plans, analyses, reports, and technical briefings for IFMC SE leadership. This position will also require development and modification of software tools for data parsing and analysis. This position will directly support analysis of Hardware In-The-Loop (HWIL) and live Range testing of current and developmental AMD systems.

Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must be a US citizen, must be a resident of the WSMR area (El Paso TX, Las Cruces NM, or Alamogordo NM) or willing to relocate, must have a four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics. Candidates with relevant DoD/Army experience are strongly desired, but new hires with exceptional skills will also be considered.
Background in Python programing a must. Other desired qualifications, ability to reverse engineer current scripts/code to improve data reduction and support existing scripts for maintenance and production of data. Ability to self-motivate and work with other analysts for extraction of information from datasets to support the generation of reports necessary for validation and verification the PEO-MS Army Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) systems and developmental AMD systems.
Other Qualifications:
Enthusiasm, independent critical thinker, and a team attitude are important, as well as the ability to respond to quick turn requests. Test range experience is desired.
Security Requirements:
Candidate must possess or be able to obtain and maintain an Active Secret security clearance.
