Cloud Systems Analyst is responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. Being a Cloud Systems Analyst develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Additionally, Cloud Systems Analyst monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Business Systems Organization manages the administration of laboratory computer software systems. The support provided by this organization ensures that the software and data management needs of the Business Management Directorate are met.
You will assist this organization through data visualization and transformation projects. These projects will include using the concepts of databases, knowledge of finance/accounting processes, and familiarity with data flows to create visual tools through Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) in Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), and SQL.
This team works a 9x80 schedule onsite at our EROB facility in Idaho Falls, ID. This position can be offered hybrid or remote.
University freshman-junior enrolled full time at an accredited college/university studying Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or Information Technology
A minimum overall 3.0 GPA
Authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT and OPT)

Compensation and Benefits:
Undergraduate Internships ($25.65/hour - $30.70/hour)
Masters Internships and PhD Internships Pre-Candidacy ($31.75/hour - $34.06/hour)
PhD Internships Post-Candidacy ($33.75/hour - $36.06/hour)
