Cloud Systems Analyst is responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. Being a Cloud Systems Analyst develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Additionally, Cloud Systems Analyst monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Cloud Systems Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Overview

    St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a Systems Analyst to join our EPIC Radiant team.

    Unit/Position Summary:

    With a high degree of latitude, the Systems Analyst reviews business requirements, analyzes and evaluates existing and/or proposed systems and designs and develops IT system solutions in response. This role participates in and leads teams through work efforts which may include configuration, implementation of and on-going maintenance and support for production application systems with broad impact. Participates in identification and prioritization of work efforts with leaders and/or stakeholders.

    • Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
    • Prepares detailed program specifications and requirements, identifies required inputs, participates in the design, development, and testing of systems.
    • Documents statements of work, project plans, or other forms of project documentation; translates into system specifications.
    • Ensures data integration and communication between interrelated systems is functioning correctly and impact of system changes are evaluated.
    • Leads technical assignments involving specialists from various disciplines, and has responsibility for the quality, timely delivery and appropriateness of the teams recommendations. Acts as a liaison between the development-team and the end users.
    • Considers a broad range of options and applies sound judgement to develop solutions within their specific area of specialty.
    • Coaches and leads others in acquiring knowledge and provides expert advice. May serve as an evaluator of staff within the team. Provides leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group; may act as a lead or supervisor.
    • Conducts analysis of system infrastructure, set-up and design to ensure business and end user needs are met. Analyzes information and develops infrastructure to support business process design and improvement activities.
    • Coordinates installation with end user, tests configuration and recommends modifications to improve functionality, ensuring positive results.
    • Evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.
    • Handles the most complex issues and problems.
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

      Minimum Qualifications:
    • Education: Bachelors degree or experience in lieu of degree
    • Experience: 6 years relevant experience.
    • Licenses/Certifications: None

      Preferred Qualifications:
    • Radiant experience
    • EPIC & Cadence experience
    • Healthcare experience
