Cloud Systems Analyst is responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. Being a Cloud Systems Analyst develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Additionally, Cloud Systems Analyst monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Cloud Systems Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     The Radiology Systems Analyst serves as the primary technology resource for the information systems for the Radiology application systems and works in collaboration with the Information Services Department. Responsibilities include planning and design of business solutions and resources needed to meet business goals, implementation and management of system configurations. Provides technical expertise as a consultant to the user community, remote branch locations, Information Services, vendors and affiliate sites, etc. Responsible for the orientation and on-going training/education of all user personnel. Develops and provides a variety of reports in response to management requests. Provides recommendations for resource allocations to meet business goals with system solutions.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Serves as the primary technology resource for the information systems for radiology. Coordinates closely with management, staff members, Information Services and software vendors and other radiology staff to ensure accuracy, reliability, consistency and overall integrity of the radiology information database. Manages system configurations and coordinates implementation of system expansions, upgrades and enhancements in conjunction with software vendors, Information Services and other impacted systems within Billings Clinic.
    Coordinates all implementations assigned including planning meetings, notifying end-users and Information Services of technical/systems specifications, file maintenance, testing, training and go-live activities.
    Analyzes user problems related to the radiology information systems applications and follows through to resolution. Coordinates the radiology information systems issue list documenting outstanding issues/concerns. Acts as the focal point for problem resolution between the radiology staff and the Information Services Department.
    • Acts as a liaison and expert resource with the user community and software vendor to identify problems and concerns regarding the overall performance of the radiology systems. Researches, analyzes and makes recommendations and/or takes appropriate corrective action to resolve problems with the internal functionality of the system.
    • Provides the software vendor with recommendations for system enhancements, detailed information regarding technical or functionality problems and coordinates implementation of recommended fixes received. (i.e. system interfaces)
    • Provides technical support and acts as a resource responding to procedural questions regarding system functionality and technical interaction with other Billings Clinic system applications. Duties include coordination and performance of daily support/maintenance activities, program development for orientation/training of new users and on-going education and training for established users, branch sites, affiliate sites, etc.
    • Participates in defining goals and objectives working closely with the radiology leadership and staff. Participates in project management for achievement of departmental and organizational goals related to radiology services. Attends all end-user meetings on system/application related topics and provides radiology leadership and/or system expertise to develop better application uses. Actively participates in the Compliance Committee.
    • Participates in the development of policies and procedures as it relates to access and utilization of the radiology systems.
    • Oversees radiology charge capture and verification of hospital and clinic radiology charges. Identifies problems and initiates necessary steps to resolve situation on a timely basis.
    • Maintains the Radiology Charge Master, updating and coordinating with the Patient Accounts, Accounting Departments and Decision Support for appropriate documentation and coding requirements. Reviews and recommends modifications to charges at least annually to determine best possible reimbursement and competitive strategy.
    • Maintains system files for the radiology information system applications and ensures proper controls over all maintained files and ensures accuracy, completeness, and security.
    • Acts as a trainer for existing radiology applications, new releases or upgrades, etc. Training and support is provided to Billings Clinic staff and physicians, branch sites, affiliates, non- Billings Clinic staff and other customers. Acts as a liaison and resource for system users for the radiology order entry system, clinical reporting capabilities and radiology information system functionality.
    • Identifies needs and sets goals for own growth and development; meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains and provides working knowledge of information technology as it relates to radiology information systems. (Penrad, Powerscribe, Viewpoint, etc.)
    • Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency environmental, employee or patient safety standards relevant to job performance.

    Minimum Qualifications
    Education


    • High School or GED


    Experience

    • Two years radiology work experience, emphasis on radiology workflow or office process supervision

    Other Minimum Qualifications

    • Demonstrated project management skills and strong computer skills—Excel, Word, and Windows
    • Demonstrated knowledge/experience with CPT and ICD-9 coding
    • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered
    • Employees that require a licensed or certification must be properly licensed/certified and the licensure/certification must be in good standing.
