Clinical Research Manager manages the clinical monitoring process and the administration of clinical trials. Supervises CRAs in in-house and on-site monitoring, filing, and clinical trial administration. Being a Clinical Research Manager oversees adherence to SOPs, Good Clinical Practice and FDA regulations. Helps with the development and implementation of clinical processes, procedures, and programs. Additionally, Clinical Research Manager may require a master's degree in nursing. May require ACRP or SOCRA Clinical Research Professional exam completion. Typically reports to a director. The Clinical Research Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Clinical Research Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. We’re looking for a Project Support Associate to join our award winning Clinical Trial Support Services team!


    Purpose of the Job:

      

    The Project Support Associate assists the Project Operations Team in planning, organizing, coordinating, and overseeing activities related to the combination of Imperial products and services within the clinical trial space. Projects may include print production, translation, graphic design, content development, product procurement, kit assembly, and global distribution.

    Job Functions and Performance Standards:

      

    · Support all members of the project team in their research, document development, data collection, and communications for assigned tasks


    · Performs important administrative functions for the project teams which will include managing project folders, client account maintenance & setup, updating project metrics, and taking meeting minutes during internal and external calls, when requested 


    · Conducts data entry functions within project or client specific tools such as creating & updating quantity sheets, managing client surveys, and assisting with resupply or budgetary proposal updates


    · Using Imperial’s online inventory portal and ERP software, processes domestic and international releases when requested, monitors shipment hold queue, performs appropriate action to allow shipments to go out appropriately, and other support tasks as needed


    · Extracts, prepares, and maintains project reports such as warehouse inventory summary, shipment tracking, product quarantine list, expired inventory, and others as needed to send to project team in support of updates for clients


    · In Imperial’s design software, assists with project setup & maintenance, file management, proofreading & quality check files, invoice processing, and other support tasks as needed


    · Supports production activities such as inputting exact repeat orders into database, setting up & processing proof requests, minor composition updates in Adobe PDF, research & resolution order delays or holds, and other support tasks as needed


    · Creates and administers systems and processes to make repeated tasks more efficient, ensuring that all project documentation is detailed, kept up to date, completed, and archived appropriately


    · Prioritizes assigned project tasks and handles multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining timely communication between team members


    · Understand and implement company goals and objectives, operating in conjunction with Imperial’s Core Values and maintaining relationships across all departments within the project team

    Requirements

    Education:

    · High school diploma or equivalent

    · Some college coursework preferred


    Licenses/Certifications:

    · N/A


    Experience:

    · At least 1 year experience in a professional setting

    · At least 1 year experience in a customer service role


    Skills:

         

    · Customer-oriented with a service mindset  

    · Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    · Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

    · Strong organizational skills with attention to detail 

    · Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

    · Ability to work and train independently and under general supervision, as well as work collaboratively 

    · Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    · Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
