Work is primarily office and desk, computer-based but will include walking around medical center and working in patient areas.
Shift
Monday through Friday, day shift (evenings and weekends rarely needed).
Job Summary
The Research Associate will be responsible for:
- Managing research projects; maintaining records; producing reports.
- Recruiting subjects and obtaining consents for research studies / clinical trials.
- Obtaining and maintaining IRB approval for research projects
- Helping to secure new research funding by identifying grant and clinical trial opportunities.
- Helping to write and publish scientific / medical articles; helping write grant applications.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Excellent written and oral communication skills; well organized, experience with producing reports and/or publications.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
No
Preferred Education/Experience
ACRP or SOCRA certification required at the time of hire. Experience in research, especially human subjects research highly preferred.
