Job Details
Responsibilities:- Design and write precise CNC programs to manufacture parts on 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machines using G Code and Mastercam.
- Modify existing CNC programs as required, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
- Use 3D CAD/CAM software to create models and drawings of products.
- Use micrometers, lathes, mills, and other precision tools to measure and inspect parts, ensuring they meet the required specifications.
- Coordinate with the manufacturing team to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Maintain and update CNC machine programs and related documentation.
- Ensure all CNC machinery is regularly inspected and maintained to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest CNC programming techniques and industry best practices.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing duties.
- Provide training and guidance to junior CNC programmers and operators as needed.
Qualifications:- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer.
- Proficiency in G Code, 5 Axis, Mastercam, and 3D CAD/CAM software.
- Experience with micrometers, lathes, mills, and other precision tools.
- Strong understanding of CNC machine programming and metalworking processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to CNC programming and operation.
