Our client, a highly reputable and respected teaching hospital in the heart of NYC, is seeking an experienced Inpatient Clinical Risk Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and reducing clinical risk in the inpatient setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician with prior acute care experience to join a dynamic and innovative team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and reduce clinical risk in the inpatient setting.
• Collaborate with health care providers to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
• Investigate incidents and ensure timely reporting to regulatory agencies.
• Conduct staff training and education on risk management topics.
• Maintain knowledge of current regulations and standards related to risk management.

Requirements:

• Must be a clinician: RN, MD, NP, PA.
• Must have an active NY license in their respective field.
• Previous acute care risk management experience required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
